Scoop Marketplace
Scoop Marketplace is a zero waste grocery store that offers package-free groceries, zero-waste lifestyle products, and home care goods. Timbra is excited to have partnered with Scoop on the design and build of their new retail location in Kirkland, WA. To align with the overall mission of Scoop we wanted to create as little waste as possible, and make use of repurposed materials. This was realized through the use of Fir boards that were salvaged from a home remodel on Beacon Hill, ultimately becoming the doors for all the cabinetry. The Fir shelving was also locally sourced from an arborist who cut the slabs from trees that were removed due to being dangerous to homes and people. Other work by Timbra included fabrication and installation of steel shelving frames, rolling ladder and PaperStone countertops.
